Scouting in America has a celebrated past since its beginnings in 1910. The Scout motto is: Be Prepared. In a world where there are so many uncontrollable factors, Scouts have the opportunity to put these words to work. The Scouting program thrives in an environment where ingenuity and creativity are essential. This requires flexibility and adaptability. This summer, Patriots’ Path Council is adapting the traditional summer camp program to address the needs of Scouts based on the circumstances our community is faced with. The goal of the PPC Outdoor Academy is to implement a program with value that is timely while following the Scout Oath and Law and with support of the Aims and Methods of Scouting. As Scouting moves forward, programs and experiences will continue to be provided to youth that can not be found anywhere else!
